🎉 A Fantastic Launch Night at The Arc Cinema Preston!

What an incredible night — we’re still buzzing from our launch event here at The Arc Cinema Preston!

We were honoured to welcome Nick Park CBE RDI, the award-winning filmmaker and animator behind beloved classics like Wallace & Gromit, Creature Comforts, Chicken Run, Shaun the Sheep, and Early Man, who officially opened our cinema. Nick cut the ribbon alongside our brilliant Mayor of Preston, making it a truly special occasion for our city.

The celebrations continued inside with an exclusive Q&A session, where Nick was joined by Merlin Crossingham, Creative Director at Aardman Animations. Our lucky competition winners and special guests had the chance to ask some fantastic questions and hear behind-the-scenes stories from these animation legends.

And as a special treat, they even brought along the real Wallace & Gromit models from the films — a magical moment for fans young and old!
