The film continues the franchises trademark formula of outrageous stunts, ridiculous pranks and painful physical comedy captured with the same chaotic energy that made the original MTV series a global cult phenomenon when it first launched in 2000.

Arriving June 26, 2026, the film is expected to serve as a celebration of the entire Jackass legacy, blending brand-new stunts with unseen footage and classic-style segments in what Johnny Knoxville has described as a fitting end to the crews 25-year run of self-inflicted chaos. Knoxville himself has hinted that the movie will be the last outing for the franchise, acknowledging the enormous physical toll the stunts have taken over the years after injuries including broken bones, concussions and even a brain haemorrhage during Jackass Forever. What began as a low-budget MTV prank show has since grown into a hugely successful film series and global comedy phenomenon. With its signature mix of reckless creativity, outrageous humour and jaw-dropping stunts, Jackass 5 promises one last wildly inappropriate ride for fans of the most fearless stunt crew in cinema history.
